Situated in the serene Neelys Bend area of Madison, "Tahlena" serves as the cornerstone of Old Hickory Recovery. With convenient access to public transportation right outside the front yard, "Tahlena" is easily connected to the outside world while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. This spacious 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home spans 3,678 square feet, providing ample space for our residents to find peace and tranquility.
Inside, residents can gather in communal spaces, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie. We understand the need for work-life balance, which is why "Tahlena" offers a dedicated work-from-home space for residents with remote jobs. It is also the place where our community comes together for meaningful events and house meetings, ensuring that every step of the recovery journey is supported by a close-knit and caring family of individuals dedicated to lasting sobriety.
Welcome to "Hickory House" or "Brannom," our second Recovery Home, conveniently located just a 3-minute drive away from our beloved "Tahlena." Situated on a serene and spacious 1-acre property, "Hickory House" offers a tranquil setting on a quiet residential street that feels almost like being in the countryside, yet just 15 minutes from the vibrant heart of downtown Nashville. Nestled in this peaceful environment, it provides the perfect space for our older adult residents, aged 30 years and up, seeking a supportive community on their path to recovery.
With a thoughtful work-from-home area, residents can maintain their professional pursuits while focusing on their personal growth. Though .3 miles away from the closest bus stop, "Hickory House" remains easily accessible, offering the best of both worlds: a peaceful haven to heal and grow, yet still connected to the dynamic energy of the city.
